Gran Turismo 6 Seasonal Challenge - 1980 Or Later Race Car Super Lap at Circuito De La Sierra.
Cockpit view from the Audi R8 LMS Ultra as I negotiate the 17 odd miles of the Sierra circuit in an attempt to at least secure a Bronze time.
The observant among you will notice that this is replay footage, the reason being that although I did this lap in first person/cockpit view, I pressed the wrong button on my capture card's remote control and failed to record anything!
Anyway, had already decided that I was not going to make Silver or Gold, at least not in this car, as I was around 40 seconds off the pace. Based on my fastest lap I wasn't going to make that kind of time up anywhere, even if I did iron out the couple of small mistakes which may have cost me a few seconds per lap.
So, this was my best Bronze run, only beaten by about 16,000 other players!! Believe it or not, at the time I recorded this, the guy at the top of the leaderboard had an incredible 6m 20S lap, a full minute faster than the Gold time requirement.
As for me, I have to content myself with my 8m 39s here, a massive six seconds faster that the 8m 45s required for Bronze.
